Samsung launches Galaxy Z Flip4 at the Unpacked event
Samsung launched its new foldable series phones, Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4, at the Unpacked event on 10th August. The company launches new improvements and upgrades in the Z Flip4 despite not many significant changes. Here are the details about Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 is better than Flip3
The company improved Galaxy Z Flip4 in terms of screen, design, and performance compared to the previous model, Z Flip3. According to the introduction at the Unpacked event, the Galaxy Z Flip4 gets its power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and it has 8GB RAM. It also has Adreno 730 on the graphic side.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 comes with a thickness of 6.9 mm when it is in the unfolded position. However, its thickness reaches 17.1 mm while it is folded. The brand launches the Z Flip4 with four blue colour options, bora purple, graphite, and pink gold. It also has an IPX8 water resistance certificate.
The phone has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz whil,e the Galaxy Z Flip4 unfolds. The phone has a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED with a 60Hz refresh rate when folded. You can use shortcuts and widgets on this screen.
On the camera, we can see that Samsung didn’t make major changes to this model. The Galaxy Z Flip4 has a 12 Megapixel, f/1.8 main camera and 12 Megapixel ultra-wide camera, which can take 123-degree photos. There is no optic zoom support on this camera.
The company used a 10 Megapixel, f/2.4 front camera. The Z Flip4’s main camera supports 4K 60 FPS video recording with OIS-supported. The phone comes with WiFi 802.11az 6 GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, 5G, and USB Type C features. It has a 25 Watt fast charging, 3700 mAh battery.
