Samsung continues its efforts in the foldable phone market, and the countdown has begun for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 models. So far, reports suggest that the upcoming devices will not disappoint in terms of performance. Most recently, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has reportedly appeared in performance tests.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 Spotted on Geekbench
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, identified by the model number SM-F966U, has been spotted in the Geekbench database. The device scored an impressive 18,143 points in the OpenCL test. This listing also indirectly confirms several of its technical specifications.

Based on the Geekbench tests, it appears the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. Additionally, it will come with 12 GB of RAM and run Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI 8 interface right out of the box.
According to previous leaks, the Z Fold 7 will be equipped with a 4,400 mAh battery. The device is also expected to feature larger displays than its predecessor, including a 6.5-inch cover screen and an 8.2-inch main display.
Furthermore, it’s claimed that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will sport a 200 MP main camera — a significant upgrade over the 50 MP sensor used in last year’s Z Fold 6. The other two sensors are said to remain the same: a 12 MP ultra-wide lens and a 10 MP telephoto lens.
