Samsung continues its efforts in the foldable phone market, and the countdown has begun for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 models. Reports released so far consistently suggest that the new devices will not disappoint in terms of performance. Most recently, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been spotted in real-life images.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 spotted in live image
Taking a look at the leaked images of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, it appears that the device will retain the vertically aligned triple camera setup seen in its predecessor.

While the overall design and corner curves look almost identical to the Z Fold 6, the live image seems to support previous rumors of a 200 MP main sensor. For comparison, the Z Fold 6 featured a 50 MP ISOCELL GN3 sensor (1/1.57”), which is smaller in size than Samsung’s 200 MP sensors (typically 1/1.3”). The expanded camera island and repositioned flash further suggest the inclusion of a larger sensor.
According to other leaked specs, the Z Fold 7 is expected to measure 158.4 x 143.1 x 3.9 mm when unfolded and 8.9 mm when folded. This would make it thinner than competitors like the Oppo Find N5. The device is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Elite” chipset globally, paired with 12 GB of RAM and a 4,400 mAh battery—matching the Z Fold 6’s capacity. The inner screen bezels might be reduced from 1.9 mm to 1 mm, potentially increasing the usable display area.
On the other hand, the Z Flip 7 is expected to come with the Exynos 2500 in most markets, while the Snapdragon 8 Elite may be reserved for North America and China. A more affordable Z Flip 7 FE variant is rumored to feature the Exynos 2400 chipset.
