The YouTube channel Android Addicts conducted an extensive test comparing the battery performance of the new Samsung Galaxy S25 series and the Galaxy S24 Ultra model released last year. The test simulated daily usage scenarios such as social media usage (X and Instagram), movie watching, standby mode, and gaming to measure the durability of the devices. A benchmark test was also performed.

Overall, the Galaxy S25 series offers longer battery life than the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The 2 hours and 48 minutes difference between the Galaxy S25 and S24 Ultra is enough for watching several episodes of a digital series.
What stands out most in the test is the Galaxy S25+ model, which lasts a full 15 minutes longer than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Despite having a slightly smaller battery, the S25+ outlasts the S25 Ultra. This is not an abnormal situation, as the reason for this difference is the S25+ model’s smaller screen, which results in lower energy consumption.
