Samsung has decided to halt the distribution of the One UI 7 update due to a critical bug that affects user experience. However, the South Korean tech giant is continuing its work on the next version, One UI 8, without slowing down. The latest reports suggest that Samsung is already testing the new version on one of its popular models.
Samsung Is Testing the One UI 8 Update on the Galaxy Z Flip 6
It is claimed that Samsung is currently testing the One UI 8 update on the Galaxy Z Flip 6. According to a shared screenshot, the update has the build number F741BXXU2CYD7 and is around 3 GB in size.

This development indicates that Samsung has begun internal testing of the new version. Meanwhile, the company plans to follow a different strategy this year by rolling out the update first to its foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7, instead of the flagship Galaxy S series. If everything goes as planned, the stable version will start rolling out after the launch of the new foldables in July.
