Samsung continues to roll out patches enhancing user security as it counts down to the stable release of One UI 7. The South Korean brand has recently launched the January 2025 update for three more smartphones. Here are the details!
January 2025 Update for Samsung Galaxy S22 Series
The Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra are the latest Samsung models to receive the January 2025 update. The update, which was rolled out last week in the U.S., is now spreading across Europe. It addresses over 50 security vulnerabilities within the system.

- Galaxy S22 Ultra – S908BXXSDEXL1
If you haven’t received the update notification automatically, you can manually update your phone or tablet by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If you still can’t find the update after following these steps, it might not have reached your region yet, so you may need to wait a little longer.
With Android 16, it is claimed that a highly used feature from the past could return to the quick settings panel.
