Android security updates, first released by Google every month, are then distributed to devices by companies like Samsung. Following its release for several flagship models earlier this month, Samsung’s March 2025 security update is now available for its older foldable flagship. Galaxy Z Flip 5 Receives March 2025 Security Update
Since this morning, Samsung has been rolling out the March 2025 update for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6. Now, it’s being extended to the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Currently, the update is available in South Korea and comes with the F731NKSS5DYBE software version.

Expected to reach more devices and regions in the coming days, the 415MB update fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities, including several critical ones. Samsung strongly recommends installing the update as soon as possible.
