While Apple has released many interesting features with the latest updates, other tech companies are trying to take these features for their devices. Now, Samsung has released one of the best features of iOS 16, Lock Screen customization, in the latest beta of OneUI 5. Here are the details about the Lock Screen customization in Samsung’s OneUI 5 beta.
Lock Screen customization in Samsung devices
According to the sources shared by Vaibhav Jain, Samsung released the new Lock Screen customization feature in the latest software beta. Thanks to the new customization feature, users can add widget icons for notifications, new clock styles, and more to the Lock Screen.
Of course, there are specific differences between the iOS 16 Lock Screen and OneUI 5 beta Lock Screen. For example, Samsung offers five different clock styles while Apple offers eight clock styles. Additionally, the Android manufacturer only offers widget icons for notifications, while Apple provides built-in and third-party widgets. However, the brand also gets most of the functions from Apple. Samsung users can change the clock color and add new wallpapers.
