Samsung continues its software update efforts. Alongside the One UI 7 version, which began rolling out on April 7, the South Korean company is also releasing security patches to enhance user protection. The latest development shows that the May 2025 update has been released for six specific models.
May 2025 Update Released for These Six Samsung Devices
Samsung has released the May 2025 patch for the following six models:
- Galaxy Z Fold 6
- Galaxy Z Flip 6
- Galaxy A56
- Galaxy S23
- Galaxy S23 Plus
- Galaxy S23 Ultra

The update is currently available in different regions:
- Z Fold 6 and Flip 6: South Korea and Asia
- A56: Europe
- S23 series: South Korea
If your device doesn’t automatically receive a notification for the update, you can check manually by going to:
Settings > Software Update > Download and Install
If the update still isn’t found, it may not have reached your region yet, and you may need to wait a bit longer.
