The countdown has officially begun for the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, which is ready to be presented to users as one of the successful players in the smartphone market. The price-performance phone, whose design has been leaked before and technical specifications have been revealed, has now appeared on Geekbench.
Specifications of Samsung Galaxy S23 FE are becoming clear
With the appearance of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE on Geekbench, the processor of the phone has been confirmed. According to this, the new model will be powered by the Samsung-made Exynos 2200 processor. The phone, seen on Geekbench with the model number SM-S711B, will have a RAM capacity of 8 GB.
Exynos 2200 was used in the Galaxy S22 series in Europe last year. Battery issues in this model had been a topic of discussion for a long time. According to rumors, Samsung will release the S23 FE with the Exynos 2200 to get rid of excess processors in stock.
Due to the issues with Exynos 2200, the S23 models were only released with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 this year. On the other hand, the S23 FE will remain loyal to the Exynos 2200 worldwide. So, we won’t see the S23 FE with a Qualcomm processor.
The previous FE version could be purchased with Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100. By skipping the S22 FE, Samsung is directly transferring the new version of Exynos 2100 to the S23 FE model. Whether the new phone will have any battery issues remains a question.
According to the latest information, the S23 FE will come with a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. The model will feature a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the new model will host a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto sensor.
The S23 FE is expected to fill the gap in Samsung’s price-performance class with its features. So, what do you think about the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE and its specifications? Feel free to share your opinions with us in the comments section.
