    Samsung warns against galaxy vulnerability. The 24 vulnerabilities seen in Galaxy smartphones were fixed in the June security update.

    Samsung is warning Galaxy users against security vulnerabilities affecting Exynos processors and chips. The company stated that with the June security package, it fixed many vulnerabilities detected in the software.

    USOM urged Samsung to review the update documents released by Samsung and make the relevant updates immediately. The vulnerabilities could allow attackers to gain control over systems and steal data.

    It was stated that more than 10 vulnerabilities were fixed with the security package. Due to some of the vulnerabilities identified, there is a risk of memory corruption, unauthorized access and code execution attacks on Exynos.

    Samsung has highlighted critical security vulnerabilities such as memory corruption, bypassing authentication mechanisms and not checking rollback protection.

    Samsung also shared technical details and risk levels for a total of 24 vulnerabilities fixed in the June update. Accordingly, several vulnerabilities are marked as high risk. This means that Galaxy owners, especially those with Exynos chipsets, should download the update as soon as possible.
