Samsung has reached the final stage of its long-running One UI 7 development and is now testing the stable version on select models. Most recently, the South Korean company has started testing One UI 7 on one of its popular mid-range smartphones.
Samsung Testing One UI 7 on Galaxy A55
Samsung has begun testing the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A55, a model released in previous years. The test firmware build for the smartphone was detected on Samsung’s servers under the version number A556EXXU6ZYB6.

This development indicates that Samsung has started its internal testing process for the device and is making the final refinements before releasing the stable version to users.
However, the official release of One UI 7 has been delayed once again. While the Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch with One UI 7 pre-installed, older models are still waiting for the update.
If there are no further delays, the stable update is expected to roll out around April, coinciding with the release of the Galaxy S25 Edge. This means that the Galaxy S24 series could also receive One UI 7 in the same timeframe.
