Google has been testing the Android 15 update in beta for a while, and as the stable release approaches, Samsung has also started its move. According to recent leaks, Samsung has been testing the One UI 7.0 update based on Android 15 since around June and has now begun testing it on the Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54, and Galaxy A73. Here are the details…
One UI 7.0 Update Testing for Galaxy A Series
Although Samsung has not made any official announcement, it appears that the company is working on a major new operating system update. Recent Geekbench tests indicate that Android 15 testing is being conducted for the Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54, and Galaxy A73, with the initial testing date set for June 27, meaning the tech giant has been working on this for over a month.
As always, Samsung will release the Android update after Google and is expected to do so in the second half of the year. We can be confident that we will see the Android 15 and One UI 7.0 update in the latter part of the year, as was the case last year.
Since optimizing new system updates can vary significantly for each device, Samsung decided to start testing phases earlier. Additionally, with the introduction of Galaxy AI features, these updates have started to grow in size.
Recent leaks have revealed that Samsung plans to bring AI features to some A series devices. Although no Galaxy AI features are expected for the Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54, and Galaxy A73 at the moment, this could change in the future. However, the new update is expected to bring significant changes to the user interface.
