The new Galaxy S25 series, which Samsung is expected to unveil this month, seems poised to impress with its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. Building upon last year’s Galaxy AI technology, Samsung now plans to offer free access to Google’s advanced AI model, Gemini Advanced, to its users. Here are the details…
Google and Samsung partnership grows
According to information obtained by Android Authority, the beta version 15.52.37 of the Google app reveals significant clues about a collaboration between Google and Samsung. Four lines of code in the app mention that Galaxy S25 users will gain access to Gemini Advanced, with durations varying by model.
Reportedly, the following access plans will apply to the different Galaxy S25 models:
- Galaxy S25: 3 months of free access
- Galaxy S25 Plus: 6 months of free access
- Galaxy S25 Ultra: 1 year of free access
In addition to the Galaxy S25 series, the code also hints at Gemini Advanced access being extended to other devices, such as the Google Pixel 9 and a Motorola handset. This suggests Google’s intention to make its advanced AI models more widespread across the Android ecosystem.
Samsung’s bold offer could strongly influence users to choose the Galaxy S25 series. However, it’s already anticipated that the S25 series might not be a budget-friendly option. What do you think about this AI advantage? Share your thoughts in the comments!
