Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy S25 series was rumoured to offer a high experience in charging speed. But now users are reporting that their phones are experiencing serious problems while charging. So why Samsung’s latest model does not charge properly? Here are the details!
Charging problem in Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Plus models
Some users who purchased Samsung’s new Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25+ models say that their devices charge slower than expected and occasionally stop charging. Some people even state that adapters that work smoothly on previous Galaxy models do not work properly on the S25 series. Although the phone shows the phrase ‘Super Charging 2.0’, it is stated that it takes hours to fill the battery.

Moreover, the problem is not only experienced with third-party adapters, but also with Samsung’s own 45W official charging adapter and 5A USB-C cable out of the box. Some users report that they can charge the phone more stably by disabling the fast charging feature.
Samsung stated that it is aware of the problem and will be resolved with a software update. In the statement made by the company’s Italian office, it was recommended to use the 3A cable out of the box instead of 5A. Interestingly, the standard Galaxy S25 model is not affected by this problem because it only supports 25W fast charging.
Samsung’s first software update released recently includes improvements in charging. However, it is not clear whether this update completely solves the problem. For now, users are recommended to use a 25-35W adapter or turn off the super fast charging feature to charge the phone more stably.
