Samsung April 2024 update addresses several security vulnerabilities
Google’s monthly security update for Android devices was released for April. Although a bit early, Samsung has also started rolling out the update for Galaxy phones and tablets. According to announcements, the new security update fixes many security vulnerabilities, making devices more secure.
In addition to the twenty-seven fixes released by Google, which includes one critical and the rest high-risk issues, Samsung is addressing seventeen security vulnerabilities for Galaxy devices. One fix has been issued specifically for an exploit in the Samsung Pay application that could grant attackers access to user information.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 model is receiving the new security update with software version F946BXXS1CXCH, which is now available for users residing in the European region. Another foldable model, the Z Flip 5, is receiving the Samsung April 2024 update with software version F731BXXS1CXCK. Users in the European region can also download this security package for the Z Flip 5 model.
The update coming with software version A525FXXS6EXC7 for the Galaxy A52 model is currently available for download in Russia and Kazakhstan, but it will soon be available for download in Turkey as well.
