In tests conducted by GSMArena, the Galaxy S24 FE’s processor, the Exynos 2400e, was very close to the Galaxy S24+’s Exynos 2400 processor in CPU performance. It was only 2.5% slower in the single-core test and 3.2% slower in the multi-core test.
The real surprise came in graphics rendering and ray tracing performance. In 3DMark’s Wild Life Extreme GPU test, the Exynos 2400e was only 4% slower than the iPhone 16 Plus’ A18 chip. But in the Solar Bay test, which measures ray tracing performance, the Exynos 2400e outperformed the A18 by a whopping 23%.
These results were achieved despite the S24 FE costing $150 less than the iPhone 16 Plus. In everyday use and gaming performance, users will not notice a significant difference between the Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy S24+.
