The OnePlus 13 and Oppo Find X8 series will be equipped with BOE LTPO OLED screens!
Digital Chat Station had recently reported that the Oppo Find X8 and OnePlus 13 series will have screens developed by the same manufacturer. Today, Digital Chat Station, which also revealed the features of these screens, confirmed that both models will come with flat screens with curved glass. These panels, which will also have thin frames, will also carry the selfie camera with a perforated design on the top.
According to the information received from DCS, LTPO OLED panels produced by BOE will be used in both series. Both the OnePlus 13 and the Find X8 Ultra are equipped with 6.8-inch screens with a resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels, while the Find X8 Pro will have a 6.78-inch panel with a resolution of 1264 x 2780 pixels. In other words, there will be a small difference in size.
When we move on to the entry-level model Find X8, we are greeted by a 6.5-inch screen. Again equipped with an OLED panel, this screen offers a resolution of 1256 x 2760 pixels. While there is no detail on the front camera side on both OnePlus and Oppo, it is said that all models of both series will look the same when viewed from the front.
OnePlus, which completely leans on Qualcomm on the performance side, will power its new series with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Oppo will use this processor only in the Find X8 Ultra model. The other two models, Find X8 and X8 Pro, will be powered by MediaTek’s new flagship processor, Dimensity 9400. The Find X8 series models with MediaTek processors will be released in October. The Ultra will be released in January 2025. OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 13 models in October, immediately following the Qualcomm launch.
