A troubling incident occurred in the U.S. A Tesla Cybertruck exploded in front of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, resulting in one death and seven injuries. While a thorough investigation has been launched, the initial findings present a different picture.
Tesla Cybertruck Explodes Like a Bomb
The explosion of the Cybertruck initially raised concerns about the reliability of electric vehicles, but early investigations have revealed a different story. Fireworks mortars and camping fuel canisters were found in the vehicle, and the investigation shifted focus to the possibility of a terrorist attack.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk made a statement shortly after the incident, clarifying that the explosion did not originate from the vehicle itself but was related to fireworks. He also mentioned that the attackers had chosen the wrong vehicle for such an explosion, emphasizing that the Cybertruck’s design prevented the explosion’s effects from reaching their maximum potential. In fact, despite the explosion, the windows in the hotel lobby remained intact, highlighting the vehicle’s durability.
The incident drew even more attention because it occurred in front of Donald Trump’s hotel. As is well-known, Elon Musk has a close relationship with Trump, and the businessman made headlines during the election period for his significant financial and moral support for Trump.
The incident is not limited to these details. The attack is believed to be connected to a recent attack in New Orleans, where an assailant named Shamsud-Din Jabbar drove a Ford F-150 Lightning truck into a New Year’s Eve crowd, killing 15 people and injuring 35 others. A noteworthy discovery is that both vehicles used in these attacks were reportedly rented through a service called Turo.
