In September, Chinese officials rejected claims about iPhone restrictions and expressed “security concerns about Apple.” The USA, on the other hand, defended Apple, saying that this decision was an “inappropriate retaliation”.

As Chinese technology brands such as Huawei, Xiaomi, Honor and Vivo become stronger, the scope of the ban expands. Devices of these brands generally compete with the iPhone in areas such as battery capacity, charging speeds and design. It should also be noted that while Apple also sells flat-screen phones, Chinese brands offer foldable phones.
