AnTuTu performance results of Qualcomm’s new generation processor Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 have been leaked. Developed as the successor of Snapdragon 8 Elite, which was introduced in October last year, Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 attracted attention by scoring 3.8 million points in benchmark tests according to Chinese leaks. This result means a performance increase of approximately 41 per cent compared to the previous model’s 2.69 million points.
Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 in performance test!
It is stated that the new processor will be equipped with Qualcomm’s second generation Oryon CPU architecture and will have two prime cores and six performance cores. Adreno 840 GPU will be used for graphics performance. Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will be produced with TSMC’s 3nm production technology, which will offer higher energy efficiency and performance.

Although AnTuTu scores are considered an important indicator of overall performance, it can be said that these results do not fully reflect the performance in real usage scenarios. The official launch of Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is expected to be held in October.
Although Qualcomm has not yet confirmed the official name of the processor, the product is referred to as Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 within the industry. The new chip is rumoured to raise the performance bar in mobile devices. This claim has already created a great excitement in the technology industry.
