Details about Qualcomm’s new generation mobile processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, have begun to emerge. The new chipset, which the company positions as its flagship, will make a serious leap, especially in graphics performance.
Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is coming soon
Industry sources reported that the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 reached 3.8 million points in the AnTuTu performance test. This score means a serious increase compared to the approximately 3 million level of current Snapdragon 8 Elite-based devices.

The most striking development in the new processor is on the GPU side. It was claimed that the GPU cache of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 was increased from 12MB to 16MB, which provides an increase of up to 30 percent in graphics performance.
This development could make the chipset unrivaled in areas such as mobile gaming and high-resolution graphics processing. The processor’s CPU performance will also be strengthened with the new generation architecture. Thanks to Qualcomm’s second-generation Oryon cores, there will be a performance increase of approximately 25 percent.
The new chipset has been updated not only in terms of performance, but also in terms of memory and software support. It was reported that the processor will support both LPDDR5X and LPDDR6 memory standards.
An official launch date for the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 has not yet been announced. However, looking at Qualcomm’s past launch calendars, the new chipset is expected to be announced in October. So what do you think about this? You can easily share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
