    Smartphone manufacturers are rapidly rolling out the Android 15 update for compatible models. In this context, Sony has released a new patch for one of its popular models. So, which phone is receiving the update?

    Android 15 Update Released for Sony Xperia 1 VI

    The Sony Xperia 1 VI, launched in May with promises of three operating system updates and four years of security patch support, is now receiving its first major OS update with Android 15.

    The Android 15 update for the Sony Xperia 1 VI comes with build number 69.1.A.2.78 and has a download size of just 940 MB. Sony’s patch notes do not provide detailed information about the changes or new features introduced by the update. The only noteworthy highlight is the inclusion of the November 2024 security patch.
