SpaceX is preparing to send four private astronauts to a polar orbit that has not been visited by human missions before with the Fram2 mission, scheduled to be launched on March 31. The Falcon 9 rocket, which will launch from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, will carry the crew to an orbit between 425 and 450 kilometers high.
Four more rich people are going to space
Fram2 is named after the first ship to reach both the North and South Poles of the Earth. The mission will be led by Chun Wang, founder of Bitcoin mining companies f2pool and stakefish. The team also includes Norwegian cinematographer Jannicke Mikkelsen, Australian polar explorer Eric Philips and German robotics researcher Rabea Rogge.

The Fram2 mission will travel through the polar regions on an orbit with an inclination of approximately 60 to 90 degrees. This flight trajectory will provide the opportunity to examine the North and South Poles, regions that humans have not been able to fully observe from spacecraft such as the ISS.
During the mission, astronauts will observe an aurora-like phenomenon known as STEVE (Strong Thermal Emission Acceleration Evolution), which is seen as purple and green bands in the sky. The mission will also include an innovative scientific experiment.
A research project developed by Australian company FOODiQ Global will attempt to grow oyster mushrooms in microgravity. The experiment aims to explore methods of providing nutrition for human missions to the Moon and Mars.
It is hoped that the four-person amateur astronaut team will successfully complete this exciting mission over the Earth’s poles. What do you think about this? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
