This is what Spider-Man 2 PC version might look like
A hacker group named Rhysida claimed that they stole approximately 1.67 terabytes of data from Insomniac. He demanded a $2 million ransom to prevent the leak of confidential documents and games. When Insomniac refused to pay, hackers began posting the stolen information online.
The data leaked so far has revealed what Insomniac’s new Wolverine game will look like. Insomniac’s road map also emerged, revealing the studio’s planned Marvel games until 2030.
Games to be developed include sequels to Venom and X-Men, as well as Spider-Man and Ratchet & Clank. But the most important thing recently was the leak of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC version.
Internal documents revealed that the PC version will be completed in March 2024 at a cost of $ 4.6 million. Although the game will probably not be released on computers until 2025, it should be noted that the company’s future plans have been revealed.
In response to the hack, Insomniac Games broke its silence and expressed gratitude for the support it has received from the gaming community. Publishing a statement on X, the company explained the emotional impact of the cyber attack on the development team.
