Spotify has added new playback controls and interface features to the platform to make the user experience more intuitive and personalized. These updates are aimed specifically at Premium subscribers.
Spotify has unveiled new playback features
The most notable innovation is the completely redesigned Play Queue. In this section, controls such as Shuffle, Smart Shuffle, Repeat, and Sleep Timer are now directly accessible. When the queue ends, the system automatically offers the user a list of suggested songs.

Another feature that comes with the new update is the new Hide button, which makes it possible to hide a song from all devices. This feature ensures that users encounter less unwanted songs. In addition, the “Snooze” option, which temporarily blocks tracks that you do not want to see in recommendations for 30 days, has been introduced.
Playlist editing is also made more accessible. The Add, Sort, and Edit options placed at the top of all lists will make content management easier. The new “+” icon added to the bottom right corner of the mobile app allows users to create playlists, edit content with friends, and join Blend lists.
In addition to these innovations, Spotify has also started offering features such as Jam and AI Playlist exclusively to its Premium users. Jam allows you to listen to music simultaneously with friends, while AI Playlist, supported by artificial intelligence, can automatically create a list based on listening habits.
