Squid Game Season 3 Will Be Different Than Expected!
Jo Yu-ri, who portrays Kim Jun-hee, teased that the third season will be “unimaginably cruel and ruthless.” She also revealed that the story would take a direction that would be much different than what many fans might expect.

At the end of season 2, Player 001 (Lee Byung-hun), the game’s manager and the Front Man, betrays the other players. In the season finale, Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae), the previous game’s winner and the main character, is captured and faces danger. Additionally, Seong Gi-hun’s close friend Park Jung-bae (Lee Seo-hwan) is ruthlessly executed by the Front Man.
According to Jo Yu-ri, things will only get worse in season 3. The events are set to become much darker and more brutal than anyone expected.
Netflix has not officially announced a release date for Squid Game season 3. However, a recent leak pointed to June 27, 2025, as a potential release date. But it’s important to note that this is not confirmed.
