Bethesda Games recently released the long-developed and highly anticipated space game Starfield. The game, which entered the game world with a bang, is finally getting DLSS support after being the focus of criticism.
DLSS support is on the way for Starfield!
Set about 300 years after the present day, Starfield aims to take players on a galaxy adventure full of exploration. The space-themed action role-playing game features more than 1,000 navigable planets and offers long-lasting gameplay.
Before Starfield was even released, a remarkable deal was made between Bethesda Games and AMD. In this context, FSR 2.0 technology was added to the game, which provides higher performance at higher graphics. However, the company did not make an agreement with Nvidia for DLSS technology, leaving a question mark in mind.
Bethesda Games, which was criticized for releasing Starfield without DLSS technology support, made an important statement today. Publishing a blog post on its official website, the company gave the good news that players were eagerly waiting for.
According to the announcement made by Bethesda Games, DLSS technology support will be added to Starfield for the PC platform. For those who don’t know, DLSS is an image rendering technology for Nvidia’s RTX graphics cards. It uses deep learning to display the original low-resolution image at a higher resolution, providing a level of graphics that satisfies gamers.
Aside from DLSS technology support for Starfield, there are other innovations. Brightness and Contrast controls will be added to the game. The HDR Calibration Menu, ultra-wide image support for 32:9 aspect ratio monitors, and an “eat” button for meals will also be available soon.
Stating that they carefully examine the feedback from the players, Bethesda Games concluded the statement by stating that built-in mod support will be added to Starfield as in Skyrim and Fallout 4 games.
