The number of Starlink users is increasing. According to the statement made by Elon Musk, 500 thousand new users started to receive service in four months. It was reported that the total number of users, which was 2.2 million in December, has now increased to 2.7 million.
Elon Musk, who wants to send people to Mars and colonize the Red Planet, says Starlink is very important for high-bandwidth communication on Mars. Stating that the service provides an incredible connection, Musk stated that Starlink satellites have more than 10 thousand lasers that provide data transfer between satellites, and thanks to these lasers, 42 petabytes of data are transferred in a day.
