In recent years, Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) has been one of the most highly anticipated games worldwide. Recent statements about its PC release have stirred excitement in the gaming community. However, the quick backpedaling that followed has made the situation even more intriguing. Here are the details…
Corsair Official Hints at GTA 6 PC Release
Ronald van Veen, a member of the finance department at Corsair, a leading manufacturer of computer components and peripherals, recently made a statement implying that GTA 6 will arrive on PC in early 2026.

This claim caused a stir, as there has been ongoing uncertainty about the game’s PC version. According to Veen, GTA 6 will launch for consoles in fall 2025, followed by a PC release in the first quarter of 2026.
However, Corsair quickly retracted the statement after it went viral, calling it “pure speculation.” The company clarified that van Veen had no inside information and that neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two Interactive had provided any official confirmation.
This development has reignited concerns about GTA 6’s PC release timeline. While every previous GTA game has eventually been released on PC, Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick recently stated:
“We don’t always launch on all platforms simultaneously,” hinting that the PC version may not arrive at the same time as consoles.
GTA 6 is officially set to launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in fall 2025. The game is described as one of the biggest and most complex projects ever made. However, given the history of delays for large-scale projects, many speculate that GTA 6 could be postponed. So far, no official delay has been announced, but all eyes are on Rockstar and Take-Two’s next updates.
