TCL has announced its new 57-inch ultra-wide and curved monitor. The device, bearing the model number 57R94, draws attention with its dual 4K resolution and QD-Mini LED backlight technology. This monitor, which has a 32:9 aspect ratio, offers a resolution of 7680 x 2160 pixels and gives the user the feeling of using two 4K screens side by side.

The panel, which comes with a 1000R curve, creates a 120-degree field of view, providing an advantage especially in gaming and media experiences where immersion is at the forefront. The Fast HVA panel type was preferred in the monitor. The refresh rate is at 120 Hz and there are technical features that will eliminate the feeling of delay in fast screen changes with a 1 millisecond response time.

The QD-Mini LED technology developed by TCL is used in the backlight of the monitor. The system, which has 2,304 regional dimming areas, offers high contrast levels and HDR performance. The monitor, which can reach 1200 nits peak brightness, has DisplayHDR 1000 certification.
In terms of color accuracy, a high accuracy claim is made with a Delta E < 1 value. The device’s color coverage is measured as 98% DCI-P3 and 99% sRGB. 10-bit color depth is achieved with 8-bit + FRC. The monitor is also approved by Pantone.
The TCL 57R94 also provides a high level of physical customization. Tilt adjustment can be made from -5° to +20°, and right and left rotation can be made from -30° to +30°. The height can be adjusted up to 110 mm. The total weight of the monitor with the stand is 18.3 kilograms. VESA 100×100 mounting support is also offered.
Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, one USB-C port with 90W power output, four USB-A 3.0, and one USB-B port. The monitor also features KVM switching, allowing you to control two different computers from the same monitor.
