TCL, a renowned technology brand, has introduced its new smartphone model, the NxtPaper 60 Ultra 5G, which prioritizes eye health. This phone, which stands out with its giant screen and special technology, went on pre-sale ahead of the IFA 2025 trade show.

TCL is coming with a phone with a huge screen

TCL has been using its NxtPaper display technology, which it has been developing for nearly five years, in this model. Featuring the company’s next-generation NXTPAPER 3.0 technology, the phone aims to improve eye comfort.

Described as an advanced e-ink display, this technology largely filters blue light and offers a reading experience close to natural light. This display, which can also reach high refresh rates, also extends battery life.

The NxtPaper 60 Ultra 5G features a 7.2-inch Full HD+ resolution display. Powered by the Dimensity 7400 chipset, developed using a 4nm process, the phone is also powered by the 4nm Dimensity 7400 chipset. This chipset is accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device runs Android 16 out of the box, and its display supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone’s camera features are also noteworthy. On the rear, there’s a 50MP main camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera. The device’s 5200mAh battery is designed to easily last a day. The phone also supports 5G technology.

The TCL NxtPaper 60 Ultra 5G will initially be available in Germany for €480. The phone does not come with a charging adapter.
