TECNO, a China-based smartphone manufacturer manufacturing in Turkey, has taken a significant step toward strengthening the local user experience. Ella, the company’s AI-powered digital assistant, is now available in Turkish.
TECNO AI is launching Turkish support
With the addition of Turkish language support to its AI features, both affordable SPARK models and high-end devices like the Phantom and CAMON 40 series can now understand Turkish voice commands.

TECNO users can access Ella Assistant on their devices with both text and voice commands. This voice-controlled system allows users to perform many actions directly from their voice, such as making calls, changing settings, and printing text. The “Ask Ella” feature allows the device to interact with the user in natural language.
The “One-Touch Screen Query” feature, which summarizes text on the phone’s screen and allows editing of images, demonstrates the effectiveness of AI in daily use. Additionally, the “AI Writing Assistant” feature, which analyzes and edits text, provides support for a wide range of tasks, from spelling corrections to content development.
The “Circle to Search” feature, integrated into devices in collaboration with Google, is another noteworthy detail. This feature allows users to search for any image on the screen by drawing a circle around it. This functionality, typically offered on higher-end devices, is now available on TECNO’s wide range of devices.
AI technology is also actively used in language translation. Google Cloud-powered AI Translate can perform simultaneous translations via Bluetooth headsets. This feature, available both online and offline, facilitates communication in different languages. In addition to Turkish, it supports many other languages, including English, French, Arabic, Russian, Spanish, Indonesian, and Hindi.
TECNO’s expansion of its AI integration with Turkish language support is a concrete reflection of the brand’s commitment to local user experience. What are your thoughts on this? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
