Telegram, one of WhatsApp’s strongest competitors, continues to introduce new features to provide its users with a better experience. The platform introduced many new functions with its latest update released on August 31st. Users must update their apps to access these features.
Telegram has introduced brand new features
The most notable of these new features is the ability to add music to your profile. Now, you can display the song in any chat in a stylish bar below your profile photo with a single tap from the media player. A playlist is automatically created with the added tracks.

Furthermore, the profile section for Android users has been redesigned. This design, similar to the scrolling animations previously offered on iOS, improves the user experience on Android.
Telegram has introduced another feature that allows users to better manage their profiles. You can now set which tab (saved stories, gift collections, etc.) is displayed by default when someone opens your profile. This option is accessible from the “My Profile” section under profile settings.
The app’s sticker experience has also been improved. Thanks to the new @Stickers mini-app, users can create their own custom stickers and emotes, manage their packs, and view detailed usage statistics.
Significant updates have also been made to the gifting system. Users can now send stars to cover the cost of upgrading someone else’s gift. A new “Value” field appears when viewing the gift’s attributes. This field displays the gift’s estimated selling price and provides access to statistics such as the average selling price of other gifts in the collection.
Finally, new gift themes and dynamic wallpapers are being added to chats. While themes have been available in individual chats since 2021, dozens of new dynamic chat wallpapers based on gifts have now been added. Chat hosts can use these new wallpapers in any private chat.
