Everyone waits for the Tesla Cybertruck delivery time, which was introduced in 2019. CEO Elon Musk announced that the company plans to begin delivering the Cybertruck in the middle of 2023. The automaker describes its battery-powered electric pickup as “the truck of the future.”
Elon Musk: Tesla could start Cybertruck deliveries next summer
Tesla produces cars focused on security. So, the Tesla Cybertruck is also known as a pickup with its durability and passenger protection, among others. However, the most distinguishing feature is the design. While some people like its futuristic design, some others don’t like it because they think it’s not suitable for a vehicle.
Although Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed that the company aims to launch Cybertruck delivery time in-mid 2023, it is not a specific time. However, it is a significant announcement for those who have pre-ordered and are interested in the electric pickup.
Elon Musk also said “We are still expecting to be in production with the Cybertruck in the middle of next year. We are very excited about that product. It might actually be our best product ever.” We can understand that from this explanation, Tesla is hard-working for Cybertruck, and the brand doesn’t want to make its costumers disappoint.
Why Tesla delayed Cybertruck?
Tesla would deliver the Cybertruck firstly in 2021, but the company changed the electric pickup truck launch time by the end of 2021. It was slipped to 2022. However, Tesla couldn’t produce the Cybertruck in 2022, too.
The reason for this delay is supply chain issues, especially the chip shortage, which would limit volumes significantly. That’s why Tesla delayed Cybertruck delivery time until in-mid 2023.
