Tesla has been experiencing a decline in Cybertruck sales for a long time. According to the data shared by the company, the number of Cybertrucks produced and delivered to date has been announced as 46 thousand. However, Tesla is expected to deliver only 7 thousand to 8 thousand units in the first quarter of 2025. This figure will be well below the levels of previous quarters.
The decline in Tesla Cybertruck sales continues
This decline could not be prevented despite the sales campaigns offered by Tesla. Tesla offers Cybertruck purchasers free Supercharger access, low-interest financing options and free coating service. However, despite all these advantages, the vehicle’s sales remained below expectations.

Elon Musk announced that they were targeting an annual production capacity of 250 thousand Cybertrucks at Gigafactory Texas and stated that this figure could increase to 500 thousand in the long term. However, current sales performance shows that this target will be far behind.
It is stated that there were no supply problems during the production process and that the decline in sales was directly due to lack of demand. Tesla’s biggest trump card in terms of increasing sales will be the rear-wheel drive Cybertruck model, which will be released later this year.
The model, which will have a starting price of $61,000, is expected to appeal to a wider customer base. However, Tesla may need to develop a more aggressive pricing and marketing strategy to reverse the bad situation.
