The electric car giant has announced its new software package that will elevate the user experience. The eagerly awaited Tesla holiday update brings a wide range of features, from artificial intelligence integration to fun modes.
Tesla holiday update and highlights
The company continues to continuously improve its vehicles through software development. This version, dubbed “2025 Holiday,” is poised for global distribution and boasts features that will excite tech enthusiasts. One of the most notable innovations in the update is the integration of the Grok artificial intelligence system developed by xAI. Drivers will now be able to create much smarter navigation routes using Grok with voice commands.

Furthermore, the “Tesla Photobooth” feature, focused on in-car entertainment, is also being introduced. This feature allows users to take photos using the in-car camera and add various filters, stickers, or emojis to these images, making their trip memories even more colorful.
The update notes also include details that will delight pet owners. When Dog Mode is activated, iPhone users will now see a “Live Event” card on their phones. This card allows you to monitor live images from inside the vehicle, cabin temperature, battery status, and climate control settings, all second by second.
The Tesla holiday update focuses not only on entertainment but also on driving details. Dashcam recordings can now include technical details such as speed, steering angle, and autonomous driving status. This will provide much more data in the event of an investigation.
The update also adds Santa Claus Mode and a new light show called “Jingle Rush.” 3D parking visualization is also available for select Supercharger stations, making it easier to pull into a charging station. For gamers, the “SpaceX ISS Docking Simulator” is being added to the system, making charging management a smarter option. Location-based charging limits can now be set; this means your vehicle will automatically lower its charging limit to a pre-determined level when it reaches a frequently visited location, such as your home or workplace.
Finally, an alert system is also being implemented to simplify daily life. If you forget your phone on the wireless charging station when you exit the vehicle and no one else is in the vehicle, the car will alert you with an audible alert.
