Tesla may integrate Apple Music into its EVs

While Tesla recalled a few hundred of thousand vehicles due to software problems a few days ago, now there is a rumor about the car’s software. According to the rumors, Tesla will launch the integration of an Apple Music app into its vehicle software. Here are the details.

Apple Music to launch on Tesla cars

As we see on several cars, manufacturers offer the phone mirroring feature for the phone experience on cars. You can use Android Auto and Apple Car Play to handle media playback inside your vehicle. However, if you have a Tesla, it is a bit different for you. Tesla prefers to integrate music services and other apps directly into its software. For example, Tesla has already integrated Spotify into its EVs as a music streaming app. According to a user on Twitter, Tesla may tease an Apple Music app for its vehicles.

At a current exhibit for Tesla at the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, a person on Twitter pointed out that a Model S vehicle running an unreleased software version. In this version, he found the Apple Music application.

He claims that users will be able to scan a QR code on their phone to log into Apple Music and use the app on a Tesla car. While the feature is not available to customers and there is no official announcement yet, it seems that the app is fully functional inside the cars. Tesla may release the new application with the “holiday update” in late November or December.
