The electric car giant is strengthening its presence in the Turkish market with the Tesla Model Y. The brand officially announced the addition of two new members to its popular SUV family. This new move will now provide customers with greater variety.
Tesla Model Y Turkey sales schedule announced
The company aims to offer its customers in Turkey both high-performance and affordable options. The Model Y Performance and New Model Y Standard versions are now available. Orders can be placed directly through the brand’s inventory page.
Sales start times are as follows:
- Model Y Performance: Thursday, November 20 – 6:30 PM
- New Model Y Standard: Friday, November 21 – 6:30 PM
- Most Advanced Option: Model Y Performance
The new Performance model, produced at the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg plant, stands out as the most powerful model in the series. This vehicle is specifically designed for speed enthusiasts, while also ensuring comfort during daily use.
The vehicle’s exterior design features significant updates. High-speed bumpers and new 21-inch wheels are noteworthy. Red brake calipers and a carbon fiber spoiler enhance the sporty stance.
Interior-level drivers are greeted by carbon fiber trim. Up front, there are seats with electric legroom. The new 16-inch touchscreen offers a higher resolution than previous models.
Technical data reflects the performance:
- Power: 460 horsepower
- 0-100 km/h acceleration: 3.5 seconds
- Range: 580 km (WLTP)
The brand aims to make electric vehicles accessible to a wider audience. The Model Y Standard is a key component of this goal. This model combines affordable pricing with modern features.
With a range of up to 534 kilometers, the vehicle is among the leaders in its class. It also delivers high efficiency, consuming just 13.1 kWh per 100 kilometers. The interior features new, soft-touch, durable fabric seats.
Autopilot is also standard. Additionally, the vehicle keeps its technology up-to-date with over-the-air (OTA) updates.
Prices for the models available in the Turkish market have also been announced. The starting price for the Model Y Performance has been announced as 4,418,400 TL. First deliveries of this model will be made at the end of November.
The more affordable Model Y Standard is listed with prices starting at 2,349,300 TL. Those who choose this version will be able to take delivery of their vehicles in mid-December.
