Tesla continues its growth in the Turkish market without slowing down. The company announced the cities where new Tesla Supercharger charging stations will be opened, and shared important updates about Model Y orders. Tesla’s initiatives in Turkey aim to both popularize environmentally friendly transportation and improve the user experience.
Tesla Supercharger stations on the way
Tesla has rolled up its sleeves to strengthen its charging infrastructure in Turkey. In a post shared by the company’s official X account, Tesla emphasized that they are listening to users’ demands and said, “We are working to grow our charging network in Turkey exponentially. We are moving forward on this path with you!” According to the statement, 10 new Supercharger stations and 80 new charging points will be put into operation in 2025. A similar expansion is planned for 2026. The locations where the new stations will open are as follows:
- Aydın (Söke)
- Ankara (Çankaya)
- Bolu (Capacity increase of the current station)
- Eskişehir (Sivrihisar)
- Isparta (Keçiborlu)
- İstanbul (Samandıra North and South)
- İzmir (Karşıyaka)
- Muğla (Yatağan)
- Tekirdağ
- Sivas (Akıncılar)
Tesla emphasized that it took user feedback into account while expanding its charging network and stated that these investments will make electric vehicle use in Turkey more accessible.
Tesla is accelerating its order processes to keep up with the demand for Model Y in Turkey. The company announced that it will update its new vehicle inventory every business day until July 31. In addition, Tesla, which responds to users’ demands for color variety, plans to offer more color options in July.
Tesla, which has also taken steps to combat bot use, stated that its global digital team has largely prevented such attempts. However, he stated that precautions were taken against new bot attempts with an instant tracking system. In Tesla’s post regarding Model Y interest in Turkey, the words “Turkey’s energy motivates us! Thank you for your interest!” drew attention.
Tesla Model Y became the leader of the new car market in Turkey with 7,235 sales in June 2025. Celebrating this success, the Tesla Turkey team shared the message “Thank you Turkey! We broke a record with Model Y!” on the X platform. Tesla Turkey Manager Berk Tezveren said, “We are at the top in June with 7,235 sales. We are grateful for your patience and interest!”
