Tesla has launched a new program to expand its electric vehicle charging network. Dubbed “Supercharger for Business,” the program offers businesses the opportunity to install fast-charging stations on their properties. This new initiative will further expand Tesla’s Supercharger network, which currently exists at over 70,000 locations worldwide.
Tesla Expands Supercharger System
The program not only offers business owners the opportunity to install a charging station but also includes a full service package, with Tesla handling operations, maintenance, and support. Tesla guarantees a 97% uptime for this system, considered one of the highest standards in the electric vehicle charging infrastructure industry.

One of the most significant benefits for businesses is increased customer engagement. Electric vehicle owners can quickly charge their vehicles during their visits, generating additional customer traffic for businesses.
Furthermore, employees who use electric vehicles also have a convenient charging solution at work. This offers significant convenience, especially compared to traditional office chargers, which have low power outputs and take longer to charge.
The program also offers businesses customization options. Businesses can add their own logos to charging stations and set their own pricing policies. Tesla retains operational control to ensure the smooth operation of the system. It’s not yet known whether this program, which Tesla announced in the US, will expand to other countries.
