The Renault Clio, one of the automotive world’s iconic models, has broken records with over 17 million sales across five generations, and is preparing to hit the roads with its sixth generation. Crowning its success by winning the “World Car of the Year” award twice, the legendary model will now be produced at Oyak Renault’s Bursa factory and exported from Turkey to the world. With its radical design language, digitalized cockpit, and efficient engine options, the Renault Clio 2026 aims to set new standards in its segment.
What does the 2026 Renault Clio offer?
The 2026 Renault Clio immediately catches your eye with its bold lines reflecting the brand’s new design philosophy. The wide grille at the front and sharply defined, slim LED headlights give the model a dynamic and aggressive identity. Viewed in profile, the Clio presents a more settled stance thanks to its larger dimensions. At the rear, it stands out with its upright trunk lid and modern two-piece taillights.

The new Clio’s interior represents a true revolution. The single-panel display that greets the driver houses both the digital instrument cluster and the advanced multimedia system. Thanks to Renault’s latest OpenR Link infotainment system, apps like Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Google Play Store can be accessed directly from the vehicle. This integration provides the driver with a seamless and intuitive digital experience.
The new Clio also offers significant innovations under the hood, and comes with a range of engine options to suit different needs:
E-Tech Full Hybrid: This hybrid engine, producing 160 horsepower, revolutionizes efficiency with an average fuel consumption of just 3.9 liters per 100 kilometers. This option, which doesn’t compromise on performance, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.3 seconds.
1.2 TCe: This 115-horsepower turbocharged gasoline engine delivers a fuel consumption of 5.1 liters per 100 kilometers and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds, striking an ideal balance between performance and economy.
The new Renault Clio will be offered in the Turkish market in two main trim levels: Evolution and Esprit Alpine.
Evolution: Despite being the entry-level package, it promises a comfortable ride by offering a wealth of equipment and functional solutions.
Esprit Alpine: This package, which elevates the model’s sporty spirit, includes features such as 18-inch specially designed alloy wheels, dynamically designed sports seats, and special stitching details.
The sixth-generation Clio, which will begin mass production at the Oyak Renault Factory in September of this year, will hit the roads in Turkey in the first quarter of 2026. The model’s starting price in Europe is expected to be €21,000, and the Turkish price list will be announced closer to launch. With the advantage of domestic production, Clio is expected to further strengthen its claim to leadership in its segment.
