Sony made some exciting announcements at the State of Play event. Soul Reaver 1 and 2, the beloved productions of the legendary action-adventure series Legacy of Kain, are coming back with Remastered versions. Accordingly, the trailer for Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered was released.

The new game, developed by Crystal Dynamics and Aspyr, will be playable for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The revamped Soul Reaver productions will offer PlayStation owners a nostalgic experience with relatively modernized graphics and refreshed gameplay.

The first games came out about 25 years ago. Accordingly, it was highly acclaimed for its dark world, complex story and the protagonist Raziel’s struggle as a vampire hunter. The remastered version will preserve these elements and appeal to today’s platforms.
Additionally, players will be able to switch between the Spectral and Material realms thanks to Elder God. This will allow them to move through different dimensions to solve puzzles and uncover new paths.
