The American video game company has finally made the Atari 2600+ Pac-Man Edition, which it introduced earlier this year, available for purchase. The Atari 2600+ Pac-Man Edition is listed with a price tag of $169.99, slightly higher than the base Atari 2600+ model’s price of approximately $129.
As a reminder, the Atari 2600+ is a smaller version of the Atari 2600, released in 2023 and featuring four wooden keys. It offers modern conveniences like backward-compatible cartridges and a wireless controller.
The special edition looks like it stepped straight out of the Pac-Man world. The Atari 2600+ has been given a bright yellow finish from top to bottom. The console’s main body and keys are yellow. The front of the console features Pac-Man himself, the game’s protagonist, and four iconic ghosts: Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde.
