Counterpoint, which announced the status of the smartphone market, market shares and average revenues of brands the other day, has now listed the best-selling smartphones in the first quarter of 2024. Sharing the reports of the first quarter of 2023, the company revealed the winner of the Apple and Samsung competition.
Listing the 10 best-selling smartphone models in the first quarter of 2023 and 2024, CounterPoint determined the best-selling smartphone of this year as the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Although there was no change in terms of brand in the same period last year, the best-selling model was the entry version, iPhone 14. While iPhone 14 Pro Max ranked second last year, iPhone 15 managed to become the second best-selling model in the first quarter of 2024.
If we continue in order, the third best-selling model of 2024 is the iPhone 15 Pro, and the fourth model is the iPhone 14. Samsung’s name is mentioned for the first time with the Galaxy S24 Ultra in fifth place. In sixth and seventh place are the Samsung-branded Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A54.
In fact, the brand ranking has only changed at number 7. While last year Apple ranked seventh with the iPhone 14 Plus, this year it was able to place the 15 Plus in eighth place on the list. Apple’s place was filled by Samsung Galaxy A54. Galaxy S24 and A34 managed to take the ninth and tenth places in terms of sales figures.
