Nothing is gearing up for the launch of its next flagship smartphone, the Phone (3). According to recent statements from company CEO Carl Pei and official teaser posters, several key details about the upcoming device have now been confirmed. Following the previously announced Phone (3a) series and CMF Phone 2 Pro, this new model is set to be the direct successor to the brand’s flagship Phone (2).
Nothing Phone (3) to Deliver a Flagship-Level Experience
The Phone (3) continues Nothing’s signature transparent design philosophy. Carl Pei confirmed that the device is built using premium materials, which may indicate the use of advanced glass or even titanium. The transparent body, integrated with the brand’s Glyph LED interface, is expected to be retained. Additionally, the Phone (3) will feature a customizable Action Button, similar to the one found on iPhones—a feature that also appeared on the Phone (3a) Pro.

On the front, the Phone (3) is expected to sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. While a Pro variant has not been officially confirmed, some rumors suggest the possibility of a larger 6.7-inch OLED alternative. This panel is expected to offer 1.5K resolution, support HDR, and feature a 120Hz refresh rate.
Carl Pei also revealed that the Phone (3) will include significant upgrades in performance. The Phone (2) launched with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, lagging one generation behind competing flagships at the time. The new model is rumored to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite or Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipsets. Some leaks also point to the potential inclusion of MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 or 9400+ as alternative options. While the exact processor is yet to be confirmed, it is certain that the device will be powered by a current-generation flagship chipset.
Battery specifications for the Phone (3) have not been officially shared. However, reports suggest that the 5,000mAh battery used in its predecessor might be retained. As for the camera system, the Phone (3) is said to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a large primary sensor, a periscope telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide camera. This configuration appears to align closely with that of the Phone (3a) series.
Nothing has not yet announced the official launch date for the Phone (3), but a promotional poster hints at a July 2025 unveiling. Lastly, the expected launch price of the Phone (3) is around $1,063.
