Xiaomi, one of the prominent players in the smartphone market, is set to soon unveil the highly anticipated Redmi Turbo 4. Numerous leaks about the model have surfaced so far, leaving little doubt about what to expect. Recent developments might have revealed the launch date of the smartphone.

When will the Redmi Turbo 4 be introduced?

Redmi General Manager Wang Teng Thomas hinted in his latest video that a new phone with the codename “Little Tornado” will be launched this month. This device is expected to be the Redmi Turbo 4.

The Redmi Turbo 4 will reportedly be the first smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset. This processor, built on TSMC’s 4nm process, features a Cortex-A725 large-core architecture and a CPU speed exceeding 3 GHz. It has also surpassed Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in AnTuTu tests with a score of over 1.7 million points.

The smartphone is expected to feature a flat OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and support 90W fast charging. Its price range is anticipated to be between 1,500-2,000 Yuan ($205-$275).

Reliable sources claim Xiaomi is not stopping with this model. If the rumors are accurate, the company might release a Redmi Turbo 4 Pro model powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset, either later this month or next year. This series is speculated to be rebranded versions of the POCO X7 and F7.
