Samsung continues its efforts in the foldable phone market, with the countdown for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 models expected to be unveiled in the coming months. So far, reports indicate that the devices will not bring significant innovations in areas like battery life compared to their predecessors. However, recent developments reveal new details about the products.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 Receive 3C Certification
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 have received 3C certification. This confirms that the foldable phones will support 25W wired charging speeds. This suggests that Samsung will not make any changes to the charging speeds this year.
According to previous leaks, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will feature a 4,300 mAh battery, while the Z Fold 7 will come with a 4,400 mAh battery. Additionally, both models will sport larger displays. The Z Flip 7 is expected to have a 6.85-inch main screen and a 4-inch cover display, while the Z Fold 7 will come with a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8.2-inch main display.
Furthermore, it is said that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature a 200 MP main camera. In comparison, the Z Fold 6, released last year, had a 50 MP sensor. The other two sensors on the foldable phone will be the same as its predecessor: a 12 MP ultra-wide and a 10 MP telephoto lens.
