The second season of The Last of Us is in production. The adaptation series prepared by HBO managed to make a big impact with its first season. What will happen in the second season of the series starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey?

The first set photos from the second season have leaked online. The images on social media gave us the opportunity to see Bella Ramsey and Isabela Merced as Ellie and Dina. In the photos taken from the set in Canada; Ramsey and Merced are seen traveling armed in a post-apocalyptic world.
Ramsey was spotted wearing Ellie’s iconic short hairstyle and the backpack from the second part of the game. Merced, on the other hand, does not match the costume worn by the character Dina in the play. The photo shows the two actresses taking a short break between the shootings.

The first season of The Last of Us set the standard for game adaptations. HBO’s highly anticipated Season 2 will consist of just seven episodes. “The story material for Part II was so much more than the first game, so we had to spread the story out over seasons,” said series co-creator and executive producer Craig Mazin in an interview.
Although HBO has not yet given official confirmation for seasons three and four, Mazin is confident that the series will continue as long as viewers remain interested. Considering that the first season broke viewing records, it’s likely that The Last of Us will continue to stay on screens.
