Electronic Arts (EA) recently announced the new game of the Battlefield series. Finally, it was stated that gamers have to wait for the end of 2025 for the new Battlefield game. The company’s targeted release date is October or November.
The new Battlefield game may not come out until 2026
EA announced that the new production will be released in fiscal year 2026. Accordingly, the player-favourite Portal mode will also return. Players will have access to maps and weapons from old Battlefield games. The single-player story mode, which was not included in Battlefield 2042, will also be in the new production.
EA stated that it aims to offer a fuller experience to players. Accordingly, a large team came together for the development of the game. DICE, Motive, Criterion and Ripple Effect studios will work together on this project.

Of course, it was announced that the Need for Speed series was temporarily stopped as Criterion focused on Battlefield. EA said that it will continue the Need for Speed series, but the development team is completely focused on the new BF production.
Player feedback will also play an important role in the development phase. Establishing a new system called Battlefield Labs, the studio will allow players to test early versions in this process. Feedback will be provided on maps, game modes, destruction effects, weapons and vehicles. Of course, Battlefield Labs participants will be protected by a strict confidentiality agreement and will not be allowed to share information with the public.
